Regina is the capital city of Saskatchewan, and thanks to a burgeoning economy has recently enjoyed a surge in population growth which is now over 210,000 (2010 Est. CMA).   Housing starts in the city recently reached their highest level in more than two decades, and strong commercial development continues, including: a $1.9 billion expansion of the Consumers’ Co-op Refinery, $60 million ice-rink complex, two hotels totaling 250 rooms, a 185,000 s.f. Wal-mart Supercentre, and the potential development of a $350 million domed stadium in the downtown.

The city has been one of the country’s best economic performers in recent years, and has enjoyed more than a decade of expansion thanks to low business costs, high productivity and an excellent quality of life.  Regina's economic structure is focused on in six key sectors: Steel and Manufacturing; Information Technology; Film & Interactive Media; Energy and Environment; Finance & Insurance and Agri-Business.

With the increase in development underway and various expansions projects around the city, NewWest Enterprise has many opportunities for the future.  NewWest manages high and low rise office buildings, government facilities, retail, industrial and multi-family residential buildings in Regina and surrounding municipalities. The Regina branch office is shared between the NewWest Enterprise team and our affiliate partners, Avison Young Commercial Real Estate and Granite Developments Inc.
