Gerald Grant, MCSE
Manager, Information Technology

As Manager of Information Technology at NewWest, Gerald is responsible for Wide Area Network (WAN) / Local Area Network (LAN) system administration and security, policy and procedure development, business continuity planning for disaster recovery, off-site back up systems and hardware/software management.

Gerald graduated from Grant MacEwan University with a degree in Microcomputer Management in 1994 and he obtained ITIL Foundation Certification in ITIL Service Management in 2004. Gerald is also certified as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer.

Lisa Kratko, CMA
Property Management Controller

Lisa Kratko has over 15 years of progressive accounting experience. She earned her Certified Management Account (CMA) Designation in 1999.

Lisa currently manages a large staff of accounting professionals, leading their growth and development through ongoing training and ensuring NewWest’s accounting policies and procedures are on the industry’s leading edge.

Lisa also oversees financial reporting for the properties under NewWest’s management, ensuring resources are allocated properly, managing the property budget and recovery reconciliation processes and coordinating the annual audit process for specific properties.

Nargis Ahamed
Senior Corporate Accountant

Senior Corporate Accountant Nargis Ahamed has been with NewWest Enterprise Property Group Inc. and its predecessor companies since 1990, assuming responsibility for NewWest’s corporate accounting functions in November, 2003.

Mrs. Ahamed has her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting & Auditing. In addition, she has over 30 years of experience in financial accounting, including more than 20 years in property management accounting.

Prior to joining our Edmonton operations, Mrs. Ahamed served in our Toronto office as an Accounting Manager for the North American Life Center, a 1.1 million-s.f. professional and retail complex in Toronto. 

Donna Cartledge
HR/Payroll Administrator

Donna brings a wealth of experience to her role as HR/Payroll Administrator at NewWest, with over 30 years of experience in several areas of Human Resources and Payroll Administration.

Donna obtained her Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension. Her passion for her profession is evident in her continuous education in payroll and benefits administration.

Donna is extremely active in her community, spending countless hours volunteering in positions of leadership each year and pursuing numerous personal interests.
